A close friend of our recently had the daunting task of cleaning out the home her parents had lived in since the 1970s. It was filled with treasures, most of which she kept, but some just didn't have a place with her family. So we are working to find new homes for her treasures.

This rare matching plaid skirt and cashmere sweater is a must for any vintage fashionista. Made in Scotland, each piece has the details you'd expect in fine fashion. The skirt is fully lined and the sweater has ribbon lining along the button line and each button is covered in fabric that matches the skirt.

SIZE NOTES: There are no size tags. Our best guess to sizing is a US women's size 8-10. The skirt waist is approx 32" diameter and skirt length is 28 1/2". The sweater is roughly a women's medium without being super fitted. Our model is 5'4" and 100lbs, she wears a women's size four and the skirt and sweater were both too big for her (a clip held the skirt up for the shoot). The original owner was tall, so the sleeves are a generous 23" from the shoulder seam. The skirt is falling below our model's knee, but original owner was 5'10", so hemline is meant to be higher - certainly can be tailored to your tastes.

VINTAGE NOTES
• In good condition. There is a small stain on the front of the skirt (see photo) and the sweater has been on a hanger for a while, so we recommend dry-cleaning both before wearing.
