Vintage "Independence Square, Philadelphia" Puzzle | Cardboard Interlocking Puzzle | The Windsor Jig Picture Puzzle | 465 Pieces Scroll Cut

We love a good vintage puzzle! Like so many vintage puzzles, this one was a nice challenge - it claims to be "interlocking" but it is not like modern interlocking puzzles - the shapes are funky and many just rest in place (so once you start, don't try moving it). It depicts George Washington promenading in Independence Square with two lovely young ladies - Eleanor Custis (the granddaughter of Washington's wife) and her friend Sally McKean. The puzzle is complete and the colors are still vibrant. A great gift for the puzzle lover in your life.

VINTAGE NOTES
• Puzzle pieces are in good condition with two exceptions, one narrow piece near Washington's boot has broken, but both parts are in box and they work to complete the picture. One edge piece has been damaged, but again still works - see pictures
• Box shows wear especially on the corners
