Vintage Native American Beaded Turtles - Your Choice of 6 - Hand Beaded Glass Seed Bead Pins - Leather, Glass Brooch

When I was a child my dad used to travel the back roads of Michigan quite a bit on business. Along those roads he would sometimes encounter an injured turtle (they climb on to the road and cars hit them because they are difficult to see). Dad would always bring those turtles home, nurse them to health, then bring them to our local pond and set them free. So basically, I grew up with turtles. And I still love turtles today, so I can't resist picking up turtles wherever I go!  

These charming turtle pins are all hand stitched. We think they are mid-century reproductions of authentic Native American jewelry. Each is in beautiful condition and appear to be unused. This listing is for your choice of one pin.
