Pelham Puppets were started in 1947 and became enormously popular in the 1950s and early 1960s. A former employee of Pelham Puppets set up a wonderful website where you can learn all about the history of the company (and he even offers restringing services). The website is pelhampuppets.uk. We have been lucky enough to find this rare white poodle Pelham Puppet in its original box. Although the box has ben embellished with each character pictured being given a name in pencil by someone long ago, it is in great condition otherwise and all of the original instructions are included.
