We love elephants so when we found little guy we just had to have him. He was actually a little creamer/pitcher. (Notice how the nose is a pour spout and the tail is shaped like a handle). Cute as he was on its own, we thought he could use a bit of color so we decided to turn him into a pin cushion.

To create the pin cushion we weighted it a bit for better functionality. Then we chose a bold plaid in pink and blue for the cushion, stuffed with pillow stuffing.

A great gift for anyone who loves sewing, quilting, needlework, and of course... elephants!
