We found a 1980s Dansk cheese board that was in terrible shape. But the silhouette reminded us of Halloween candy corn, so rather than risk it going into a landfill, we took it home, sanded it down and transformed it into a one-of-a-kind Halloween decoration. Hang it on the door or a wall, or use it as a seasonal coffee table display piece.

Note: the paint and polyurethane coating are not food-grade, so we do not recommend using it as a tray for food.
