Now We Are Growing - 1936 Vintage Health & Hygiene Schoolbook - Beautiful Two-Color Children's Pen and Ink Art

This is a wonderful (and timely) find as children and parents deal with topics of health, hygiene, and keeping ourselves safe. 

This 1936 school book is the first in a series called Adventures in Living, a Health Education program published by the Thomas Nelson & Sons Co., of New York, New York Multiple, accredited authors contributed to the text including: Thomas D. Wood, M.D., Anette M. Phelan, Ph.D., Marion O. Lerrigo, Ph.D., Nina B. Lamkin, A.M., and Thurman B. Rice, M.D.

Health education content is presented through storytelling to help young children relate to the material in their own lives. As such, this is also a great book for developing reading comprehension. Gorgeous two-color, pen & ink illustrations are peppered throughout.

• In good condition

• The covers shows a bit of were, especially along the edges of the binding

• Binding is nice and tight

• School markings on the inside front cover has been blacked out

• Stamped Sept. 9, 1940 on the inside back cover

• The pages are in good to very good condition. Some smudging here and there as expected from many years of school use.
