Vintage Knee-Hugger Elf | Circa 1950s | Adorable Delta Christmas Elf | Made in Japan | Bixley Shop

CLASSIC KNEE-HUGGER ELF! This 1950s vintage Delta elf was made in Japan in the 1950s/60s. He's made of felt with a plastic, roto-molded head with closed painted eyes and green painted hair. His bendable body is covered in red felt with chenille trim and a pom-pom belt. Stretched out, he measures 5 3/4" tall. Fold up his long legs and tuck them into his arms and he's a knee-hugger.

NOTE: While he looks adorable from the front, it appears this little guy was glued to a display at one point so the back of his pants are torn away. (See our photographs). This elf can only be used if you have the ability to hide the back of him. Further, the felt covering his hands is missing as well.
