Herbert V. Olsen (1905-1973) known professionally as Herb Olsen, had over 60 one‐man shows, and his work has been exhibited in many museums in the United States. He won over 70 major awards and was selected as one of 57 living American water‐colorists represented in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He was the author of five water‐color instruction books, including “Watercolor Made Easy.”
