1928 Children of All Lands Books by Madeline Brandeis | Set of 2 Antique Chidlren's Books| Bixley Shop
In the 1920s, The Children of All Lands Stories series was written by Madeline Brandeis and published by Grosset & Dunlap, featuring illustrations and black & white photography accompanying stories of the everyday lives of children around the world.
The author's intent is captured in this little poem:
To every child of every land,
Little sister, little brother,
As in this book your lives unfold,
May you learn to love each other.
This offering includes a set of two from the original series: The Little Indian Weaver (Navaho Nation), 1928 and The Little Swiss Wood Carver, 1929
