A charming set of 18 unused Christmas Seals from 1931. During this era, the Christmas Seals were a fundraising program for the National Tuberculosis Association which eventually became the American Lung Association. The seals were purchased for charity and used to decorate Christmas presents, Christmas card envelopes, etc.

The design of the seals changed every year. In 1931, they features a horse-drawn coach bringing revelers their Christmas celebration.

• One small perforation has torn a bit, but otherwise the seals are in like-new condition
