About Mary & Bill - 1966 Vintage Schoolbook - Functional Basic Reading Series
In the same vein as Fun with Dick & Jane, About Mary and Bill was a basic reader for written for elementary schools. Published in 1966, it has a more "mod" feel to the illustrations than its competitors, but the same style of "See Spot run" writing to help little ones learn to read, only here it's "See King run!' Written by two special education teachers in Oakland, CA.
