Antique Chinese Carved Elephant | Tianhuang Shoushan Gaoshandong Carved Jade Elephant Seal Sculpture | Bixley Shop

This has been in my home for a long time but it's time for me to downsize and find a new home for my lucky elephant. I think it's carved from jade, but similar figures claim soapstone, shoushan stone (agalmatolite), and marble. It would have originally ben carved on the bottom to create a stamp or seal. The bottom is now smooth. It is a gorgeous piece for any collector.
