CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - Midwestern Christian Academy "Making Cooking A Delight," Vintage Community Cookbook
From the Midwestern Christian Academy (MCA) in Chicago, IL, Make Cooking a Delight was compiled and published by the Parent Teacher Fellowship. The book has no date in it, but based on the kinds of recipes inside, we estimate it was published in the 1960s or '70s. Enjoy classic Midwest American cooking ranging from Chuck Wagon Casserole to Hello Dolly Cookies all served up by friends of the MCA.
We love community cookbooks because they represent the hard work of caring people coming together around a common cause. And, let's face it. When you know your neighbors are going to be reading this, you're going to contribute your best recipe!
