FOR TOY COLLECTORS! Vintage Wooden Fisher Price Pull-a-Tune Xylophone - Preschool Pull Toy - Original Wooden Wheels
This vintage wooden pull-toy is an icon of childhood. While many claim to be the original, this is the actual version that was sold from 1957-1966 (according to our research, the logo is heat stamp instead of litho - the litho version was introduced in 1966 and the plastic wheels were introduced in 1969). This xylophone still has the original mallet (although it is showing its age). It's a beautiful antique, but also still plays a nice tune. The wooden wheels are attached by metal axles and still roll beautifully and evenly across the floor and play a tune as they roll.
A wonderful addition to any vintage toy collection.
But please note: THIS IS NOT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. Child safety standards have changed dramatically since the 1950s!
