Galloping Gourmet TV Cookbook | Vol. 4 From Russia to England | 1970 Vintage Cookbook | Graham Kerr | 1960s TV Show
The Galloping Gourmet was a daytime favorite TV show from 1969-1971, starring Graham Kerr, a British chef with a cheeky sense of humor and a decidedly original way to dress a chicken. Graham was (and still is, he's in his 80s now) a charming, bon vivant character on stage, sipping wine, sharing cooking secrets, and making women laugh and fall in love all at the same time.
If you can't tell, I was a Galloping Gourmet fan as a kid and started cooking at an early age because of him. I'll never forget the day I decided to make French Nepolitans because the Galloping Gourmet did it on TV. It took all day but they were (and still are) the best dessert I ever tasted!
This is the Volume 4 edition of his cookbook series featuring dishes from Russia to England.
Thanks, Galloping Gourmet. (I still have a crush on you!)
