There's something about vintage pyrex that is hard to resist. This piece is unusual in that it includes the original plastic base or "cradle". It features the rare purple grape pattern on top with no scratching or fading in the design. 

Some history on this pattern:
"The Vintage casserole hit consumer markets in 1973. While Vintage is the official name of this pattern it is unofficially referred to as “Vintage Grapes,” due to the grape and vine design on the opal ware lid.

Vintage has a solid dark green one-quart (473) casserole with a white decorated opal ware lid. The casserole came with a green hugger cradle."
