Rare! Vintage Steiff Chick | 2" Woolen Baby Chick with Original Steiff Studded Tag | Bixley Shop

Steiff has been making the highest quality stuffed toys for over 140 years. Founded by Margarete Steiff, their guiding principle is "Only the best is good enough for children." In 1902, Margarete's nephew Richard invented the first jointed bear, which soon adopted it‘s world-famous name "Teddy bear" inspired by Theodore Roosevelt and brought the Steiff brand its international breakthrough.

Today, Steiff delights and enchants all over the world, from the USA throughout Europe especially Germany and Great Britain to Asia and China and Japan. In total over 50 countries worldwide.

This tiny chick is a classic Steiff in excellent condition with the original studded tag still wrapped around it's leg.
