The Paramount Story by John Douglas Eames | 1985 FIRST EDITION Hollywood Coffee Table Book | Paramount Studios History | Bixley Shop
Famous Players-Lasky proved to be too much of a mouthful for the average movie goer in 1916, so Adolph Zukor changed the name to Paramount and one of the powerhouses of Hollywood's golden era was born.
The Paramount Story, written by John Douglas Eames is an oversized coffee table book chronicling the history of Paramount from 1916 to 1985. With glossy pages and great illustrations throughout, it's a great read for film lovers because "if it's a Paramount Picture, it's the greatest show in town."
This is a first edition, published in 1985.
