Vines for Every Garden by Dorothy H. Jenkins | 1937 FIRST EDITION | Antique Book on Gardening | Bixley Shop
Vines for Every Garden was written in 1937 by Dorothy H. Jenkins with black and white illustrations by Natalie Harlan Davis. According to the dust jacket... "...written for the home gardener, it's purpose is to acquaint the gardener with vines of all classes, annual and perennial, herbaceous and woody, which flourish in the temperate regions. Vines off to the gardener the opportunity to give privacy to the porch, garden, or parts of the property which it is desirable to enclose, or to shut out n unsightly view. And beyond these very utilitarian needs, there is the sheer beauty to be had from the effective use of foliage and flower."
