Vintage Sleeping Doll Japanese Bisque Porcelain | Push Voice China Girl Doll | In Original Box | Bixley Shop
We aren't t sure why it is called Push Voice China Girl as this does not talk. There is a clicker type of mechanism in the belly that makes a light click noise when pushed, so perhaps that is the "voice". The eyes do roll open and closed. The doll is in very good condition. It does have the original box which is also in very good condition. The only flaw seen on the doll is some of the black paint on the dolls shoes is flaking off - very minor. The doll's clothing is made of silk, the dolls head is bisque porcelain, and the hands and feet are composition or similar to. There is mark on the back of the neck but not sure if it is a maker's mark, it is a Japanese character. The label on the box does say it was made in Japan.
